WHAT IS NDA FOUNDATION COURSE AFTER CLASS 10TH?
Every year, UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts the national-level qualifying examination for NDA(National Defence Academy) for interested aspirants to join the Indian defense services. This examination is conducted twice a year. NDA is the joint defense services training institute of India situated in Khadakwasla, Pune. It was established in the year 1954 and is the first tri-service academy in the world. The candidates who qualify for this examination followed by an SSB interview are eligible for the 4-year training to become an Officer in the Indian Navy, Indian Military and Air Force.
The NDA examination is divided into three qualifying phases – Written Examination, SSB Interview and Medical Examination. First, the candidates have to qualify for the written examination. After this, they are eligible for the SSB interview and then their medical examination.
The NDA Foundation Course after class 10 is a two-year program focusing on the preparation for the NDA examination along with Class 11th and 12th. This course is specially designed for students who have passed their CLASS 10th exam and are appearing in class 11th. The course is specially designed keeping in mind the holistic development of the students with special emphasis on his/her mental well-being.

There are regular physical classes by the veterans from the armed forces to train the students for the physical examination to qualify for NDA. This training takes place at the institute’s playground under the supervision and guidance of army veterans. The students are encouraged to share their grievances with the management and the teachers at any point in time without any hassle. There is a 24X7 mess that takes care of the nutrition need of each student by serving a tasty and healthy meal to them around the clock. The food menu is prepared by a skilled team of dieticians who know the kind of nutrition required for our hardworking aspirants. We make sure that our dear aspirants do not miss home-cooked meals. The food is prepared freshly by a trained team of experts with utmost love and care.
The curriculum of the NDA Foundation Course after CLASS 10th is designed in a manner in which the student can prepare for his classes 11th and 12th along with NDA preparation. Warriors Defence Institute makes sure that the studies of the students aren’t hampered and that they can manage both things efficiently. We don’t encourage the students and the parents to compromise on regular education to prepare for the NDA entrance examination. We also conduct regular group discussions that encourage the students to express their views on any given topic fearlessly and face the crowd with confidence. This also enhances the critical thinking ability of the students as they are bound to think about new topics regularly and present their views on the same.
The 24X7 hostel facility is a boon for the students who are coming from outstation. Also, this facility is available for the students of Dehradun who want to stay in a hostel with their peers to prepare dedicatedly for NDA. This is their home for the next two years away from their hometown and families. They are bound to make new bonds with their fellow students and adapt to the new environment without much of a hassle.
